All pricing with The Fine Designer LLC is subject to change at any time and becomes effective upon posting to www.thefinedesignco.com. All pricing agreed upon between The Fine Designer and the client prior to changes on the site will remain valid until said project is complete. Payment in full is required before work will begin for all projects $499 and below. A non-refundable payment of $500 is required before any work will begin for projects $501+ . Full payment and/or deposits must be paid within 24 hours of receipt of invoice or the project is subject to cancellation. All remaining unpaid balances are due within 24 hours of final approval of the design concept. The project will be finalized and all files will be sent to you ("The Client/Customer") once the final payment is made.
Currently, all payments are made via Dubsado. No project will begin until payment has been 100% cleared.
The Fine Designer LLC does not provide refunds for any services unless agreed upon. Buyer’s remorse or wanting to use another company is not a suitable means for a refund. Once payment has been made to The Fine Designer LLC, the project will begin in the time frame given to the client. It is advised that you ("The Client/Customer") give the project ample time for completion for these reasons: revisions may be needed, it may be a peak in the orders received and prior work received may take longer than expected. Also please keep in mind that design is a creative process and some designs take longer than others. There may be an additional business day or two needed before a project is started if it is a busy time. If for any reason you want to cancel a service already rendered or paid for, that is your choice. However, due to the work produced or in queue, payments already received by The Fine Designer LLC will not be refunded in order to offset the loss of business. If partial work has already been received by the client and they choose to cancel, any payments made will not be refunded. Ownership of all artwork, layouts and development will remain the property of The Fine Designer and remaining work will not be sent to the client for their ownership. If the project is in its final stage, ownership will be transferred to the client after full payment is received.
The only reason any monies will be refunded is in the event The Fine Designer LLC is unable to complete the project for personal reasons or illness.
Draft images of ANY kind are for the purpose of approval only. They may not be copied, manipulated, or distributed to any other person or company other than those directly involved with the project without prior permission from The Fine Designer. All drafts are the property of The Fine Designer.
For all projects done by The Fine Designer, there is a three (3) revision limit. After that, all additional revisions will incur a fee per revision. For larger scale projects like web design, the number of revisions are limited to 4. This is to ensure a steady work flow so the project can be completed in a reasonable time frame.
It is important to have a vision of some kind for your business so it can be relayed to me. If you want me to freestyle my ideas for your project, keep in mind our creative visions may not align and this can lead to more revisions than needed. It is in your best interest to have some form of concept on the project you are purchasing. However, I am a strategic designer meaning I design with a purpose. I will incorporate your vision in a way that is functionally sound in terms of design. You are required to submit all HIGH QUALITY photos and/or copy (text) needed for a project. Pixelated photos will not result in the best quality design so please refrain from submitting dull phone images. Please ensure that all submitted content is spell checked and not subject to copyright. The Fine Designer LLC may revise submitted content if deemed necessary. Any revisions on my end will be communicated beforehand.
It is extremely important for The Fine Designer LLC to complete projects in a timely manner. However, due to the uniqueness of each project and client, more time may be needed for satisfied completion. Please be advised that this relates to business days only. During peak/busy times, there may be an extension in the design timeframe of 1-3 business days. Weekends and Holidays are not included in the time frame of any project.
All design only projects are sent to you ("The Client/Customer") in the form of a link from me ("The Fine Designer LLC"). Logo designs are always sent in PNG, SVG, PDF and .AI or .PSD format. There is no additional charge for the vector format as this is an essential file format that can be scaled to any size. Any other digital projects including but not limited to flyers, business cards, and packaging, are sent in JPG or PNG format. If a PDF file is needed, The Fine Designer LLC must be contacted to supply that for you. The Fine Designer LLC does offer print services at this time.
All core PSD or .AI files remain the property of The Fine Designer LLC, even if a copy has been supplied to you. Once a project has been finalized and the files have been delivered to you, (with the exception of core files) you own the rights to what you have purchased. Copyrighting and/or trademarking your logo is solely up to you and not the responsibility of The Fine Designer LLC.
Once completed, you (the client) also give The Fine Designer LLC the right to use for portfolio and/or marketing purposes unless agreed upon otherwise.
